Platform
LinkedIn scheduler for B2B teams
Schedule LinkedIn posts from member profiles through Composio: text posts and single member-owned videos, approved as exact versions and receipted from the post URN LinkedIn returns. Image posts, company page posting, and LinkedIn metrics are not available yet and are refused rather than approximated.
LinkedIn lane
What the LinkedIn lane does today.
Member text posts
Text posts of up to 3,000 characters from a connected member profile. Links work when they are part of the approved text.
Single member video
One MP4 video owned by the member. SignalDeck uploads it, waits until LinkedIn reports the video as available, and only then creates the post.
Visibility set per post
Choose public, connections only, or logged-in members. Unknown options are rejected instead of silently dropped.
Receipts from the post URN
The receipt stores the post URN LinkedIn returns and the feed URL built from it. Status lookups read the post back by that URN.
Rate limits visible
LinkedIn rate-limit responses are read as backoff signals, so a busy day does not turn into repeated failed calls.
Separate gates for member and company posting
Member posting and company page posting are separate lanes with separate owner approvals. Connecting a member profile never grants company posting.
Formats and limits
Supported formats and limits for LinkedIn.
Limits come from the lane's capability record. Formats marked not available are refused at validation until their schemas are confirmed.
Text
Supported for member profiles. Up to 3,000 characters.
Video
Supported for member profiles. One MP4 video per post, checked for readiness before posting.
Links
Supported inside the post text. A separate link card field is not supported.
Images and multi-image posts
Not available yet. The image schema for the pinned LinkedIn action is not confirmed, so image posts are refused.
Alt text
Not supported on this lane.
Company pages
Gated. Company posting needs the organization scope and an admin or content role, plus its own owner approval. It is not a launch lane.
Documents, polls, articles, and newsletters
Not supported.
Metrics
Not available. No verified LinkedIn analytics action is wired, so LinkedIn metrics are shown as unavailable.
Scheduling, approval, receipt
How a LinkedIn post goes from draft to receipt.
Every scheduled post moves through the same publication ledger. Each step is a stored record, so the calendar shows what actually happened rather than what was planned.
Content version
The copy, media order, and destination options are frozen into a numbered content version. Editing the post creates a new version, and approvals for the old one no longer count.
Destination approval
An approver signs off on that exact version for this LinkedIn destination, optionally inside a time window. Scheduling outside the window needs reapproval.
Delivery intent
Scheduling creates a delivery intent. It is refused if there is no current approval, the destination's identity is not verified, or the destination is held.
Publish attempt
A worker claims the intent, validates the payload against the lane's capability record, prepares media in the documented order, and records each attempt and its events.
Verified receipt
A post is marked published only when LinkedIn returns a post URN; a response without one is treated as uncertain. The receipt links to the post's feed URL.
Uncertain writes are reconciled
If a request times out after dispatch, the attempt is marked uncertain and reconciled by looking the post up. It is never blindly retried, and a manual retry is refused while any attempt is unresolved.
Pause per destination
Publishing can be paused for one destination, a campaign, a tenant, or everything. Resuming requires an admin and a recorded reason.
Connection and account verification
Connect LinkedIn and confirm it is the right account.
Connections go through Composio managed OAuth. An authenticated connection is only the first step; SignalDeck reads the account back from the provider before anything is scheduled.
Owner or admin connects
Only roles with connection management can start a connection. The flow is signed and expires, so a stale link cannot attach an account later.
Identity readback
SignalDeck reads the member's own profile back from LinkedIn and stores that member ID as the destination identity. The connection must grant member posting permission.
Explicit confirmation
An owner or admin reviews the identity the provider returned and confirms it. Until then the destination is not verified and nothing can be scheduled to it.
Wrong-account holds
If a reconnect returns a different account, confirming it requires an owner or admin, and every scheduled post for that destination is held for re-review instead of going to the new account.
One tenant per account
A connected account already registered to another tenant is rejected, so one provider account cannot quietly feed two organizations.

FAQ
Frequently asked
Can I post to a LinkedIn company page?
Not yet. Company page posting is a separately gated lane that needs the organization posting scope, an admin or content role, and its own owner approval.
Can I schedule image posts?
Not yet. The image schema for the pinned LinkedIn action is unconfirmed, so image posts are refused rather than sent without their images.
What is the character limit?
3,000 characters per post.
How is video handled?
One member-owned MP4 video per post. SignalDeck waits until LinkedIn reports the video as available before it creates the post.
Does SignalDeck report LinkedIn analytics?
No. There is no verified analytics action for this lane, so LinkedIn metrics are shown as unavailable rather than estimated.
Can I add a link preview card?
Put the link in the post text. A separate link field is not supported on this lane.
Publish member posts with approval and proof.
Connect a member profile, confirm it, and route your first post through review.
