Threads text, image, and video posts
Threads is a launch lane in SignalDeck, published through the official Threads API. A post is text up to 500 characters with links, one JPEG or PNG image, or one MP4 or MOV video up to five minutes, approved as an exact version and receipted from the media ID and permalink Threads returns. Carousels and reply chains are not supported yet.

Text posts
Up to 500 characters, with up to five links in the approved text.
One image
A JPEG or PNG up to 8 MB with optional alt text, fetched by Threads from SignalDeck's media URL.
One video
An MP4 or MOV up to five minutes. SignalDeck waits until Threads finishes processing before it publishes.
Identity check on every publish
Before each post the token must still resolve to the confirmed Threads account, or the destination is held.
Receipts and metrics
Each receipt carries the Threads media ID and permalink; views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, and shares are read where Threads returns them.
Connecting an account
How a Threads account is connected.
Threads connects through SignalDeck's own Meta app on the official Threads API, not Composio. SignalDeck never asks for a password, and the account cannot receive scheduled posts until an owner or admin confirms it.
Start from the workspace
An owner or admin clicks Connect Threads. The signed attempt expires after 15 minutes.
Authorize on Threads
You sign in on Threads and grant the publishing, replies, and insights permissions.
Identity readback
SignalDeck stores a 60-day token encrypted, reads the account ID and username back from Threads, and refreshes the token before it expires.
Confirm
An owner or admin confirms the identity. Only then is the destination verified and able to receive scheduled posts.

Instagram Business and Creator accounts, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn member profiles, YouTube channels, and Threads profiles (text, image, and video).

TikTok and Pinterest. The lanes exist but refuse to publish, and their accounts cannot be connected yet.

Bluesky and Google Business Profile. They are not in the publish registry and cannot be connected.
