Solution

Restaurants

Restaurant social is weekly specials, limited-time menus, event nights, and replies to guests, usually handled by a manager between services. SignalDeck gives each location its own workspace and destinations, keeps specials inside approval windows so last week's offer doesn't post this week, holds posts that miss their slot instead of posting them late, and routes guest conversations to the right person where the network exposes them. It doesn't connect to POS, ordering, or reservation systems.

Built for restaurant groups

Local content that stays current, location by location.

  • A workspace per location

Each location gets its own workspace with its own Instagram and Facebook destinations, calendar, media, and members. A location manager assigned to one workspace doesn't see the others.

  • Specials that expire on time

Approve a special or limited-time menu with an approval window that ends with the offer. Scheduling outside the window is rejected, and a delivery that would run after it is held.

  • Missed slots are held, not posted late

If a post misses its slot beyond a short on-time grace, the default policy holds it for review. A lunch special won't go out at dinner because a connection was briefly down.

  • Posting windows and quiet periods

Set per-destination posting windows, quiet periods, minimum spacing, cadence caps, and blackout dates. Final preflight checks them again before dispatch and holds anything that no longer fits.

  • Content pillars

Tag posts by pillar, such as specials, events, behind the scenes, or hiring, so the calendar shows the mix and nothing gets skipped for a month.

  • Inbox with assignment and escalation

Comments and messages from connected accounts land in the location's inbox where the network exposes them. Assign threads, label them, escalate to a manager, and use saved replies. AI can suggest a reply, but a person sends it. Inbox starts on the Agency plan.

  • Phrase checks for menu claims

Add wording your group requires or forbids to the brand profile, such as dietary claims only the kitchen can confirm. Frozen versions that break the list are blocked from approval.

A week at one location

How a location manager runs the week.

  • Monday: plan specials

Draft the week's specials and event posts, tag them by pillar, and attach food photos from the shared library.

  • Tuesday: approval

The group's marketing lead or the general manager approves each destination with a window that ends with the offer. The person who drafted it can't approve it.

  • During service: nothing to babysit

Quiet periods and posting windows keep posts out of the hours you choose. If a slot is missed, the post waits for review rather than going out late.

  • After service: guest replies

Work through assigned inbox threads, escalate complaints to a manager, and send replies a person has accepted.

Group controls

Brand standards across locations.

  • Shared rules, set per workspace

Each location workspace keeps its own versioned brand profile. Put the group's voice, prohibited claims, and required wording in each location's profile; a policy change marks unpublished versions there for re-evaluation.

  • Pause one location or everything

Pause a single destination, a campaign, or the whole organization. A pause before dispatch prevents the provider call, and resuming needs an owner or admin with a reason.

  • Reports per location

Report on each location's posts and accounts from verified receipts, with freshness labels and unknown metrics left unknown. White-label reports start on Scale.

Media

Food photos, staff, and guests.

Record a licence for photographer or creator media, with channels and expiry, and record consent for staff or guests who appear in photos. Expired licences and withdrawn consent stop deliveries that haven't gone out. Images need alt text before a version passes review.

Not integrated

What SignalDeck doesn't do for restaurants.

There is no POS, online ordering, reservation, or delivery-app integration, and menus aren't synced. Google Business Profile posting and review replies are not available, so those stay in Google's own tools. TikTok publishing is gated and not yet enabled.

Restaurant shapes

From one room to a group.

  • Single location

One workspace, specials inside approval windows, and an inbox for guest comments.

  • Multi-location groups

A workspace per location with its own managers, and group marketing approving across them.

  • Seasonal and limited menus

Campaigns with start and end dates so the menu posts stop when the menu does.

  • Events and private dining

Event posts approved with a window that closes before the event starts.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Can we post to Google Business Profile?

No. Google Business Profile publishing is not available, and Google reviews aren't pulled into the inbox.

Does SignalDeck connect to our POS or reservation system?

No. There is no POS, ordering, reservation, or menu integration. Specials and prices are written into posts by your team.

What happens if a special posts late?

By default it doesn't. A delivery that misses its slot beyond a short on-time grace is held for review, and anything past its approval window is held as stale.

Can a location manager see other locations?

Not unless they're added to them. Workspace-assigned roles only see the workspaces they belong to.

Which messages show up in the inbox?

Only what the connected network exposes through its API for that account. Coverage differs by network and account, and AI-suggested replies always need a person to send them.

Which networks can we publish to?

Publishing runs on Instagram Business and Creator accounts (images and carousels), Facebook Pages (text, links, images, multi-image, and video), YouTube (video and Shorts), and LinkedIn member profiles (text and video). X uses a direct route that stays off until a separate terms review is complete. LinkedIn company Pages, TikTok, and Pinterest are gated and not yet enabled. Threads publishes text, one image, or one video through the official Threads API. Bluesky and Google Business Profile publishing are not available.
